El Pueblito in Plano

This place is great. All the locals know for great Mexican food go here. Try it, you won't be disappointed. It's a small place so you may have to wait but it'll be worth it.

I love El Pueblito. It’s delicious, authentic Tex-Mex styled food. The host was quick and responsive, as well as the waitress, and seated us immediately. The waitress (Jen) was incredibly polite, and would frequently ask if we needed anything. The food came astonishingly fast, and hot, unlike some other local places. I also want to mention the pricing as well. The price is perfect, great food for an even better price. There isn’t much I can say negatively towards this establishment. The only thing sorta keeping from coming back again is the location, and the inadequate parking space. The dining area is also quite small and often gets too crowded. All in all, this place is good. Whether you’re looking to grab a quick bite, or sit down with you’re family I assure you that you’ll have a pleasurable experience.

This is a great place for authentic Mexican food. Food is really good and the waiters were friendly. They don’t bother you much but are always there when you need something. I love authentic Mexican food and this place supports my love for it. Would give it 10⭐️ if I could

We were in a hurry and looking for something good. I'm not usually on this side of town so we gave it a shot. Great food and fast service. Couldn't have asked for more.

Very friendly staff and excellent tasting food. Great quality and quantity for the price. Only thing was there system was down so they could only take cash at the moment which happens so not a huge deal. Chile relleno with chicken was perfectly flavored and their salsa is so tasty!

Nice quiet Mexican restaurant with an excellent menu and equal food. Parking is no problem. Restaurant is clean and staff is great. Only issue is that there may be a wait but it is worth it. Highly recommend.

I have been to El Pueblito a couple times for dine in and a couple times for take out (Covid). Tonight I ordered the Steak Picado and it was excellent. I used the delicious corn tortillas to eat the steak. Well seasoned with a little kick to it. Beans and rice was good. This is a great Plano Mexican restaurant. I can't wait for Covid to end.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for the past six months at least once to twice a week. The chili Reno is amazing as well as the fajitas. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very nice. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I was impressed with beautiful carved furniture outside entry & inside. It is inviting by sights& delicious aromas before you even get inside. They have an all inclusive menu, friendly wait staff, and immediate attention. We were served quickly with everything we ordered. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious & fairly inexpensive. I’m planning to bring a friend next time.

Authentic delicious Tex Mex. Chicken tacos and steak picada was excellent. Locals come here because they know it's awesome!

Got the beef fajitas which I didn't think had much going for them. I did enjoy the tortilla chips and salsa, and awesome portion sizes!Got a sopapilla with ice cream which we really did enjoy!

Great TexMex food. Fresh, hot and delicious. I love that they do not over salt everything.Never had a bad meal there in 10+ years.Service is okay but it's a small place with limited staff. Enjoy🌮🇲🇽

Nothing special about the salsa (a really thin and liquidy dip) but the lunch was tasty and a good price! Beans were yummy and enchiladas were too!

My husband ordered food to go; beef nachos and rolled tacos plate. The 2 stars is for the fact that there were only 10 chips in my box and he ordered the full order of nachos $11...i was starving and was saddened by the quantity, not sure if they messed up and gave us half an order instead of full? There was very little of everything. Maybe its better if you eat there so you can see the food vs waiting until you get home. Ive had nachos elsewhere, where its full of chips and cheese meat etc to where the box barely closes. Overpaid and still hungry :(

I love this place. They treat you like family. Owner and staff is great. They have great margaritas and some of best steak tacos I have had.

Set down for a quick lunch and hour and a 1/2 later when the phone stopped ringing I was able finish lunch thank you for putting up with me for that much time. Food was great. Will have to return some time for one of the margaritis for dinner.

Food was good and at a reasonable price, it's more of a mom and pop restaurant. I had the catfish with the Diabla shrimp and both were good. My wife had the beef chimichanga and it was great. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small not too busy restaurant to take their family to.

Excellent place! It's easy to miss as you wouldn't think of a Mexican restaurant in that shopping strip at Alma and Spring Creek. Food was perfect, service was good and the whole meal hit the spot.

Hands down the best menudo in DFW. I’ve brought a lot of ppl here to try it and they’re always impressed. As good as my mom’s and Grandma’s. Salsa is amazing. Cold beer. Full bar. Mexican coke. Sometimes there’s a wait but it’s worth it. Super Friendly wait staff. Family owned. These people are great. Love this place!

Good food...little pricy if you consider the plates small amount of food in the lunch special which we bought for To-Go order.So I can't say how much food is in the Eat-in's.

Nice small place with good food. Especially like the chip and salsa. Salsa looks like it's freshly made, very refreshing. Chips are warm, thin, and not oily. The grilled steak is tender and flavorful. Chicken tortilla soup is light and good. We had early dinner for mother's day and saw mostly Spanish speaking people which was a good sign for us. There are people waiting when we're done.

My all time favorite Mexican restaurant by far!!!! I always get their mouth watering tortilla soup and a lime jarrito! The service is fast and kind and the restaurant is always clean! Thank you El Pueblito restaurant and staff!

I moved from Hermosa Beach, California to North Texas in June 2017, hoping to find Authentic Mexican food. Unfortunately Tex Mex is ubiquitous here. Finally I asked the right guy who is working on my house Masonry project. I told him how I miss real Mexican food...he immediately had the name of El Pueblito and showed me on google maps it’s location. Today, February 17, 2020 is my first time to experience authentic Mexican food in Texas. My lunch was 2 chicken tacos, bean and rice with excellent salusa and chips. Many thanks to El Pueblito for being here.

Quaint little Mexican restaurant excellent food courteous service friendly pretty good size portions. I had their tortilla soup which was very delicious corn chips crispy crispy that's a plus Very reasonably priced!

Anything with carne asada is delicious

Food was good. Please note the prices listed on the menu on Google are not correct. They are a little higher but still reasonable. Really friendly and quick service.

El Pueblito is an awesome place to eat. This is the first time here and I wish I can give them more stars. First, the waitress Karen and the other waiters were super friendly! That is how everything started, then their salsa and guacamole was spectacular!! Wait! Let's not forget one of the best and huge Margaritas I had! The food was delicious as well. I could see why so many happy faces in this place. The best of everything is their price for the quality of food is really good for such a good and delicious food. Thank you for such a good experience El Pueblito! I will be back soon.

They serve some awesome Mexican and Tex-Mex. The menu is pretty extensive so you may want to study the menu before you come. If you have any questions about their menu the staff is eager to help you find what your tastebuds are looking for. The lunch specials are pretty cheap, but even if you’re coming for dinner the prices are reasonable.

Their streak quesadillas are superb! They serve it with guacamole that is always fresh!

chips and salsa good, a little heavy on the onion in the salsa but spiced right. margaritas were good and priced decent. I had the chimichanga with fajita beef. it was good and rice and beans were good too. small place, not too many tables to sit at but service was good, albeit starting a little slow (they were busy) but picked up and finished pretty strong.

I just had yet another amazing meal from El Pueblito!
